The 2015 Fellowship Program is a great opportunity for students in Psychology, Economics, International Affairs, Political Science, International Development, International Relations, Publishing, Graphic Design, Marketing, and many other International disciplines to present their work to an international audience and publish their work in international publications. There are two tracks in the Fellowship Program, one is an individual research track and the second is a policy track. A fellowship consists of two conferences in one year. In 2015 the first conference (April 12-15) is only three days and is a cruise from Ft Lauderdale, Florida to the Bahamas and back to Ft Lauderdale, FL. The Guest of Honor for this cruise is Ambassador Simona-Mirela Miculescu. You will meet your Tiger Team at this conference and will solidify the topic of your research or policy paper during this fun networking cruise. Over the next several months you will refine and submit your work to the editors and to a peer review. The second conference (October 17-24) starts in New York City and goes to Canada and New England ending back in New York City, New York. During this second cruise you will present your work to an international audience, refine the marketing plan, visual plan, and make corrective revisions if any and submit for final publishing. You will also attend the Fellow Graduation, Awards Ceremony, and BIED Society GALA. The total time commitment for being a fellow in 2015 is a 3 day cruise and a 7 day cruise and the time it takes to research your portion of the project. Our fellows are mid-level, entry level, and advanced practitioners working together in collaborative teams to break down complex issues and present them in a regionally focused method. It is possible to be a student and hold a full time job and complete this fellow as it is designed for busy professionals.
If you are looking to publish, have recently finished graduate school or undergraduate school, are still in school, or want to take your professional experience to the next level, the BIED Society Fellowship can help. All interested parties are asked to fill out the Fellowship form found on the BIED Society website to get more information. There are only two months before the 2015 Fellowship Program starts.
